NIL 15 - Outlining
Hey, lookie at this. A new NIL. I've been missing a lot of these recently. Ah, well. Relatives.
I have an exam later this week. Then finals. After that, I will collapse for a week and do nothing.
In other news, the new movie "Safe" with Jason Statham is HILARIOUS. I really enjoyed it. Not only was it action packed to the point of a never ending bloodbath (a well choreographed and executed bloodbath, mind you) it was also funny in a deliciously dry, sarcastic kind of way. I recommend it. It's worth a theater ticket in my opinion.

NIL 14 - White Space
Consider yourself blessed for having a NIL today, because my computer died a few days ago again. I went to restart it after finishing a painting in Photoshop and it wouldn't. I lost several hours of work, even though I had saved it, because we couldn't get anything off the harddrive. Thankfully, I had every other little thing backed up on an external harddrive, but still.
I had finally finished it. I am so irritated. Now I have to repaint over ten lotus and the stupid guy's cloak, as well as the entire background. GAHAIGSGNDIFGDFLGNLSDF.
Anyway, here's a NIL. You won't have one next week. Good day. *stomps off*

The NIL for the 22nd "Point of View" probably won't happen either. Relatives and all that.

Punctuation
This goes back a little to format. Format can help or hinder you, just like anything else. English punctuation can be a finicky, particular thing.
There are three main groups of punctuation used widely in fiction: phrase modifiers, the Dots, and the Dashes.
Phrase Modifiers:
These include an appositive phrase (that which doesn't affect the sentence whether it is or isn't there but are often fun to include just like this one,) into another sentence.
NIL 12 - Simplicity, Elaboration, and Progression
I apologize for missing last week. I wasn't at home. Spring break and all that. I was trying in vain to work out the kinks with a college. Their system must be the stupidest I have ever seen. It's worse than the government.
I'll probably miss this coming Sunday as well. We'll have to see.
Since I missed one, I'm combining them today. I know my posts tend to be quite long, so maybe a couple focuses will make it seem less tiresome.
